A conference of the Donors Forum “Charity publicity:
Who  needs it and why?” will be held 20 October

The first report in Russia about the status of institutional charity will be presented at the 9^th annual conference of the Donors Forum, which will be held 20 October 2011 in Moscow.

The main theme of the conference this year will be the profits and risks of publicity in charity and new trends and acute problems of charitable activity.

The conference will include presentations of

• quantitative and qualitative data on charity fund activity in Russia from especially conducted research,
• data from media content analysis,
• analyses by leading experts and guests, and
• results of the year and prognosis.

Heads of the leading charity funds and charitable programs of companies and representatives of government, business, the scientific community, and the press will participate.

Anna Piotrovskaya, executive director of the Dynasty Foundation, will participate in the conference.
The Dynasty Foundation is a member of the Donors Forum, which since 2004 is an association of the largest grant-awarding organizations.
