Support Program for Young Scientists' Participation in Short-Term Thematic International programs
|
The Dynasty Foundation and the International Center for Fundamental Physics in Moscow opened this support program in 2010.
The competitively based program gives young scientists working in different areas of physics an opportunity to participate in short-term thematic programs of the world's leading scientific and educational institutions that specialize in organizing programs in fundamental physics.
Such programs are organized by, for example:
- CERN
- Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics
- Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences
- NORDITA
- Yukawa Institute.
The program duration is from three weeks to six months.
Russian and CIS citizens under 45—graduate students, young scientists with only an undergraduate degree, candidates and doctors of science studying or working in Russian scientific organizations or institutions of higher learning in different areas of physics—can participate in the competition.
The winners will receive Dynasty Foundation grants for participation in scientific programs.
The Academic Council of the International Center for Fundamental Physics in Moscow makes decisions about grant awards.
