Gorbachev Foundation Conference Support

Gorbachev Foundation, founded and headed by Mikhail Sergeevich Gorbachev, for more than a decade has been conducting researches and realizing programs and projects aimed at establishing democratic values and humanistic principles in Russian society.

In June 2005, Gorbachev Foundation and journalism faculty of Moscow State University held an international conference, Perestroyka 20 Years Later: Glasnost' and Development of Journalism. The topic Glasnost' and Mass Media was discussed by well-known journalists and leading researchers from Russia, former Soviet Union republics, and foreign countries.

Within the bounds of cooperation with Gorbachev Foundation, the Dynasty provided USD 30,000 for the organization of the conference.
