The Social Journalism Project

In 2004–2005, the Social Journalism of Civil Society project became one of the most noticeable undertakings supported by the Dynasty within the framework of the program for developing civil society in Russia.

The main point of the project being realized by Russian public organization for assisting civil education is to organize and conduct training sessions for students of journalism faculties of Russian universities specialized in Social Journalism.

Among the tasks of the project is developing the program and curriculum on social journalism considering specific features of the region; organizing theoretical and practical sessions for journalism faculty students in Moscow, Murmansk, Barnaul, Perm, Vladimir, Ulyanovsk attended by representatives of public organizations; as well as preparing, publishing and distributing methodical material materials on the project results.

The Dynasty Foundation provided the project with the grant in the amount of USD 115,000.
