The Road Home Project

The current stage of the project has the following objectives:

• Establishing a permanent social service in Moscow and Cherepovets for working with children and families in crisis situations; the purpose of the service is to prevent children running away from home and to return them to their families;
• Exchanging experience and providing training for employees of institutions for homeless and neglected children in the city of Moscow and the Vologda Region;
• Monitoring child homelessness and neglect, studying Russian and international experience and technologies for solving similar problems.

The Foundation implements The Road Home Project in strategic partnership with the New Eurasia Foundation and Severstal Group. The project's uniqueness is in the complexity of its goals and as well as its unusual management system: three donors fund the Project on an equal basis.

The Road Home Public Foundation for the implementation of the Cherepovets part of the program was registered in the city of Cherepovets at the end of 2004.

The Foundation's expenditure on The Road Home» Project reached USD 80,000 in 2004.

The Dynasty Foundation's budget for 2005 allocates USD 105,000 for the project.
